Filter Cartridge / Cartridge Filters

Van Borselen Filters has a very extensive program of cartridge filters, for almost every application we can provide you with the right filter cartridge, such as:

  • Depth filter cartridges, when your fluid contains a wide range of particle sizes.
  • Surface or pleated cartridge filters, when larger surface area and higher flow rates are required.
  • Membrane filter cartridges, often used for the removal of microbiological retention in pharmaceutical and food grade applications.
  • High Flow cartridge filters, used in applications where large amounts of fluid needs to be filtered. These cartridges have a larger diameter compared to standard filter cartridges and are normally 40” or 60” in length.

Filter cartridges often ensure a more precise and effective filtration compared to filterbags. Filterbags typically have a 70-80% efficiency on their given micron rating, where filter cartridges can reach efficiencies up to 99,98%, meaning that only 1 in every 5000 particles larger than the given micron rating is allowed to pass through the cartridge filter.

Cartridge filters can be produced with different connections on both ends, ensuring that the filter cartridge fits perfectly in its’ housing and therefore avoiding any bypass.
