Sintered Metal Flame Arrestors are used in many process instrument and analytical instrument applications as a safety device for handling flammable gases for gas analytical equipment.

By using sintered metal flame arrestors, gas from combustion is prevented from going back into the equipment and exploding, thus avoiding possible damage to equipment or injury to an operator.
